Activating Strategy As Process : asap 2 Day Programme
This Programme deals with the reality that many strategic plans fail because decision makers do not fully understand how their organisation operates as a complex adaptive system. It introduces new approaches to strategising that have emerged from complexity science over the past decade and is based on the principle that human organisations are dynamic ‘wholes’ that are greater than the sum of their parts.
Participants engage in an alternative process to traditional strategic planning. They collectively craft a set of simple principles based on the unique identity of their organisation as a complex dynamic system - a system that is embedded in a complex 21st Century knowledge economy. Then they learn how to apply these principles to activate strategy as a real-time everyday process, on-the-job.
This workshop is suitable for groups/teams/boards of executive directors/managers who are responsible for the strategic direction of their organisation. It is also suitable for the members of a specific division/unit within an organisation.
